The Client
Billingo is an innovative online invoicing system that we launched as a startup in 2012. Due to rapid growth, in 2015, a new dedicated project company took over its management, but Voov remained responsible for branding, graphic work, and the development of the application's user interface.
The Task
Our task was to rethink the entire branding of Billingo’s online invoicing system, as well as develop new platform functionalities. This included creating a new user interface, invoice templates, and designing a comprehensive website to present the application with new blog sections, e-books, and a help center.
Our Solution
We started the project with surveys and research. Based on the findings, we carried out a comprehensive update of Billingo’s branding and user interface, providing the application with a fresh UI and rethinking the user experience to make features more accessible and easy to understand. We designed several new invoice templates tailored to customer needs and redesigned the original ones. To complement the branding, we created a unique illustration style that made Billingo’s appearance distinctive and easily recognizable. The newly designed website thoroughly presents all of Billingo’s features, while the Help Center supports users in navigating the platform. The website also included customer segmentation, allowing us to create personalized marketing materials targeting each user group. The results were remarkable: Billingo’s user base and satisfaction grew significantly. The project's success is demonstrated by Billingo winning the Marketing Diamond Award (2016) in the design/creative category, as well as multiple Website of the Year Awards (2016, 2017, 2018) in the B2B websites and Service categories.
